    no gas!

hey hey, my jet ski died the other day on the lake. noticed the fuel filter was pretty gross, so i changed it. ive taken off all the fuel lines leading to the carbs and they are all unobstructed.
it just won't get gas for the life of it. i have no idea what to check next. i bought a manual hoping it would help me out, but the fuel section is about 3 paragraphs long.
does anybody know what i should do?

Have you checked the screens inside the fuel tank?

Time for a triple outlet fuel pump upgrade. Contact John Zigler for one. Should be around $25.

    And welcome to the Hulk.

i appreciate the help very much.
i just bought the jet ski, and i do have the tripple fuel pump come to find out after getting down and dirty.
could you explain how to check the fuel vents in the gas tank please?
****also, once i untwist the cap holding the fuel lines at the ass end of the tank, there are only two tubes going down into the gas tank. is this bad? it seems like there needs to be a third one and it fell off or something.
    any thoughts?

You should be able to blow air into the vent line. Be sure to remove the fuel filler cap before doing this. If you can blow air in the tank the vent is fine.

My guess is one or more of the fuel lines has degraded and is swollen shut. A good place to start is take each line off and see if you can get fuel through them. But a safe bet is to replace them all if they are soft and spongy.

Mahem, that is the triple outlet kit.(hoses and plugs, etc...) Just the pump is around $25.

CH, there should be a vent that allows air into the fuel tank. It's located on the vent hose.

You should only have 2 hoses into the tank. 1 main (shorter), and 1 (longer) reserve.
There will be a hole in the cap for the return to dump back into the tank. And the vent, I believe has a small check valve device clamped to the cap for the vent. Make sure it moves freely up and down.

Is your fuel tank pick up tube cap made of plastic or aluminum? If it's plastic, is it cracked?
