    WTB: sponsons for sl780 (SLX)

    Im looking for a set of sponsons for my 96 sl780. SLX sponsons will work. Maybe SLT?? Let me know what you have!

    i have some faded purple ones from a 96 SLX = 40.00 set
    some smaller ones, teal from a SLT = 30.00/set
    and some very nice black ones from a 99 SLX = 50.00/set

    If you want to still play with the ski, (Donuts, etc...) I suggest the SLT sponsons. They are not as aggressive as the SLX ones.

    which model sponsons? any pics? how would they work on my sl?

    with the worx or beach house sponsons, which are probably the two most sold aftermarket sponsons, you will turn more aggressively. They will *catch* quicker and you will turn better. Albeit the days of you spinning circles with your ski are over. You can also *correct* faster when you get some air and land back on the water. But you can get *pitched* faster if you land and your handlebars are turned too far to the left or the right. They look good on the ski though. A lot of people like the aftermarkets, some like the stock.
