Ultra 250/260 T/B Mod
Looking for someone who has a 250 or 260, who is interested a free throttle body porting job.
Someone who knows their ski extremely well, and is willing to do some stringent before and after testing, monitoring the entire weather spectrum, temp, dewpoint, baro pressure, wind and water currents, and temps both before and after the modification has been done.
FLAT water will be necessary for accurate numbers also.
Preferably someone who has the mechanical aptitude to do all the work themselves, and has extensive experience in the (tuners) world.
This takes more than just reading a gps and tach as much of the gains are in the midrange rpm band, and a tachometer that will read in 10 rpm increments like the PET 2100dx tach does is necessary also. Maybe Kawis factory tach does that, i dont know, but a stock tach like some seadoos that reads in 50 rpm increments isnt good enough.
I would also like someone who could use 2 GPS,s at the same time, which is what i always do for increased accuracy.
I have had great success with the Yamaha GPR and Seadoo throttle bodies and have yet to mod any Kawi T/Bs.
Both GPR and Seadoo mods have resulted in top rpm gains in the 50-80 rpm area, with noticeable increases in midrange power also.
I would need the throttle body for maybe a week at most to study it and make the modifications.
Anyone who feels they meet the criteria listed above please send me a PM and let me know what you have..

Here's the plan after speaking with Ross...
I will be trying this on a bone stock 260x
I will also be trying this on a JE boat as well.

Yes Scott is the man... Having 2 skis to try it on is even better, and being able to do direct back to back tests is much better than monitoring weather from week to week.
