    95 SLT750 gaskets

I know I can buy the gasket sets online, but can I make my own gaskets using material from the auto store, or use permatex. I need to reseal one cylinder and the exhaust manifold.

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

The problem with making a base gasket would be if the thickness is not the same it can cause problems with compression, and alter port timing. The waterbar may have fitment issues as well if the cylinder has a different hight.

Exhaust gaskets are a special heat rated material.

Auto parts store gasket material would fail pretty quick under the heat.
