    Engine Tech S/C Impellers

I met a well known Sea Doo racer this weekend and he recommended these supercharger impellers for the SHO engine:

Has anyone tested either of these wheels? I like the idea that they are lighter than stock. I'd be curious to know how they compare in weight to the new Riva B1 and E1 wheels. Also, Engine tech did a dyno test and got 348 HP with their 15.5lb wheel, Motec and some other mods:

Whenever the Riva ECU comes out, I'm leaning towards going with one of these wheels.

nice looking wheels, only thing on their 15.5lbs boost wheel their rpms 8350 and Riva's E1 at 16 lbs is at 8k so less stress on the motor and remember...... he was a Sea Doo guy lol lets us know if you end up going with one and how ya like it

Get the Riva or R&D wheels.
    Higher boost, lower RPM, etc...

I'm with Poof. I want to know how they compare in weight to both the stock SC impeller and the aftermarket ones.

They are excellent wheels, all of my friends sold their c3's and are now using the high boost wheels. The amount of accelleration is incrediable. I highly reccomend them. just my opinion.

I'm going to go with their 10.5-11lb boost wheel and see how it works. I'm just waiting on that darn Riva ECU

Yeah, he's a Sea Doo guy, but only Jerry or JD1's skis would be able to outrun his Open class RXP He tried different wheels and because the E tech ones are lighter, they build boost faster, better acceleration.

This is false. Our superchargers are gear driven so weight of the impeller doesn't dictate how fast they spool up. On a turbo application this holds true.

I know Riva says their impellers are lightweight but I'm not sure how much lighter than stock. Lighter is a good thing as it puts less stress on the clutch.
