New battery, ski cranks but low amps!
I just picked up a 2002 Virage TX. The guy I got it from had a trickle charger on it and said it had sat for a while. I ran it all day the first day starting and stopping several times. At the end of the day it would not start and I had a low battery warning. I figured I would replace the battery since it had sat for a while. Cranked right up with the new battery. After a bout a straight hour of riding I turned it off and it would not start. I had the low battery warning again. after about 15 minutes it fired up! One last thing. with the lanyard connected I got nothing, if I remove it, it cranks but obviously will not start. Any thoughts?

There is another owner reporting a similar symptom;
99 Genesis No Crank with lanyard on
Work through some of the diagnostics listed in that thread, see what you come up with.
There was also this thread, but I don't know what happened in the end;
2000 Virage, won't turn over with lanyard in
