There is nothing I have ever heard about Wedges for polaris sponsons. There are some aftermarket sponsons that do a much better job holding corners over the stock ones.Beach House is one name that comes to mind,Hot Seat might make some too.

    sponsons

the beach house are crap on a virage hull, the hot seat ones do pretty good.the stock batwing rideplate allows it to slide across the water.the op plate does much better and with the h/s sponsons does very well for that hull

Which Polaris are you asking about?

    2001 Virage TX 1200
    1998 SLTX 1050
    2000 SLH 900

Are they all running stock sponsons and ride plates right now?

You are saying the Hot Seat sponsons with the Ocean Pro ride plate is the best combo for the Virage hull?

That would be for straight line tracking on rough water, or strong cornering, or both?

Which Ocean Pro ride plate model would this be?

The Hot Seat online catalog isn't working for me. Is there a Hot Seat part number for these sponsons?

    sponsons

the one piece beach house sponsons are good for the slx type hulls but don't sit properly on the 3 seater hulls.hot seat baby.smooth water riding hands down the op plate(theres only 1 for the 3 seaters)out handles everything else.rough water the op plate is not as forgiving as the batwing plate but the op tracks better.i definately like the op plate better for wedge changes.i hate the b/w with a 6 wedge in the rough.the op is way more rideable with the 6
