    Not for the FZ series.

When I bought my FZS, I had worked out a deal to include the Riva stage one kit. Well, I brought the ski in yesterday for its 10 hour service and for them to put on the kit. I had mentioned to the service manager that I thought the ride plates were not available yet. He double checked what had come in and said that the ride plate was part of the shipment? He might still be wrong but I'll give an update when I pick it up this Friday.

    Unfortunately he is wrong

No plates yet from either R&D or Riva.

Right again! I called the dealer to see when the ski would be ready. The service manager was correct that the shipment of stage 1 goodies did indeed have a ride plate. However, both the ride plate and intake grate were for a SHO not a FZ!!!! They also forgot to send the exhaust.
On a side note, I was wondering if I need to worry about "overstuffing" now that I have the intake manifold, air intake, and the 13/22R with the stock intake grate? Thanks

from what I understood there have been people who have been thrown with a stock ski...you need to change that grate.

If you are running a modified ski with the stock grate then you NEED to worry. The grate is what causes the ski to stuff when modded to the point it can exceed stock speeds.
