    Water pick up strainer

How do I check the water pick up strainer in my 95 sl750. Do I have to take the jet pump off in any way? Thanks

You would need to pull the pump nozzle to inspect/clean the strainer. You can see the strainer from the outlet of the nozzle, but you can't see the openings that may be clogged. Unless you had a really small inspection mirror. My 1.5'' mirror is too big to get an angle on it as the pump cone is in the way.
