Trying To Replicate Riva Mods For My Ski???

    Hi
Trying to replicate some riva mods, free flow exhaust and air filter for my ski, I have attached install info with pics from the Riva website. Looking for any suggestions on how to replicate these to mods inexpensively. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Steve

go on e-bay and find the "silicon intakes" store, they have the elbows and air filter you will need, also search mandrel bent tubing on e-bay for your pipe. all should cost less than $150 approx.

I dont know why you just cant go to a muffler shop and have them bend it out of aluminum. Should be easy and cheap. I had it done on my gp ran me 20 bucks. from the waterbox on back is all aluminum.

Here is what I did - very cheap and nice:

    Free Flow Air intake::

4 inch 90 degree mandrel bent aluminum pipe: You will have to cut it to proper length!

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-A...Q5fAccessories

3 to 4 inch 90 degree silicone connector. Supercharger to 4 inch pipe:

    4 inch high flow filter:

You can use the stock hose clamp to clamp the 90 degree elbow to the supercharger. You will nee to purchase another 4 inch t bolt clamp.

Mine came out very nice and only cost around $80 max to make!

    Home made exhaust free flow

Here is what I used for the free flow:

3.5 inch coupler - used to connect 90 degree 3.5 inch silicone connector from waterbox to stock exhaust hose.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/3-5-I...Q5fAccessories

3.5 inch 90 degree connector - rotate waterbox outlet down slightly. Connect 3.5 inch silicone connecter to water box to 3.5 inch aluminum coupler to stock exhaust hose - no cutting requires. You will have to rotate the stock exhaust outlet by 1 bolt hole.

    Total cost under $40!

    Hey Steevo,

This is the piece that goes between the 90 degree silicone elbow/waterbox and the stock exhaust hose - you so not need anyhting else!

Any noticable gains from just these two mods? I just purchased an 09 SHO. I have 6 hrs on it now and GPS shows 63.7 on very smooth water with trim in neutral position.

There are gains - you have to do the intake manifold upgrade as well. These mods will put you into the rev limiter so you will have to re pitch your impeller. See Jerry's FZR build up thread for all mods and results
