2000 1200 PV Cylinder locating pin help!!!

Hi, need some help, blew #3 piston cause oil line fell off. Had a spare cylinder and went to replace it but the locating pins are in the opposite holes. Old cylinder is stamped with a 12 and the replacement is a 10. Is there a trick to pulling the pin out? Will it even come out? Right now Im hitting pin to pin and open hole to open hole. Please help, I would like to get out this weekend.
    Thanks in advance.
