Its a matter of priorities Dubz. Its a long race season. Both the boats have fresh re-builds geared to make it thru October. The pressure that is put on these boats in our normal racing is already bad enough without adding the equivalent of 6 more races ( 300 miles ). Not to mention that this race is by far logistically the most expensive race to run. The Kawi runs straight race fuel & the T-X is running 50/50 ratio. That equals over $ 2K just in fuel alone. Daddy Doug has to foot the costs for everything as sponser money is non-existent. As much as we would like to participate......, you get the picture. In addition, Tyler has injured his knee skate-boarding & is scheduling an appointment asap to see if its going to require surgery. There's no way I'm putting him out there unless he's 100%. Anyway, I think I'm getting off topic. We hope to make it out to the West coast at least 2 times this year & also hoping that something pops up on the East coast. We'll see.

For all those that participate in the 2010 Mark Hahn, I salute you! Let's hope that all have good luck & are able to finish safely with body & boat all in one piece. Ride hard.

    Doug

Wow. And I was thinking the $300 for fuel for an FZR was a lot for one 300 mile race. For endurance racers (which I am not) it seems like this would be the "World Finals" of Enduro's.
