I looked intothis system last year after seeing one in town.

    couple of things...

1-you need a monster pickup to haul the skis, like an 8 foot bed dually

    2-it's really really expensive

3-did I say it was expensive?

4-what do you do when you get home?

now for those with deep pockets, you can have this setup AND tow a trailer, but not a firth wheeler

I had locked on one on ebay for a deal, but the shipping was just more then I could bear

    here's the original:

IMO... the only reason for having something like this... is to be able to pull a trailer Most of the ones I see here... people are hauling two ski's in the truck and pulling a camper. Probably only use it for vacations

heh, I thought about this long ago. a frame on sliders, that`s cabled or hydraulic that would pull the ski out of the back of the van and the cables would lower it down into the water!!!

yes, the GPR will fit inside the E250...

my god that's expensive! I bet if you've got a little experience in welding, a place to pick up metal, you could cut half the price. add air bags to the rear of your truck and your set

Get a winch fabricate some mounts to the bed w/ bunks and ramp for the ski to go up. Knowing my luck the entire assembly will fall out and I"ll find my ski on the highway.
