    Water in Intake

I have a Polaris MSX 110 that a customer brought in. This spring he started it up and the rpms jumped to red line and the ski jumped off the trailer . It has not been run since and now he wants me to check it out. The first i found was water in the oil. i flushed it out, started engine without no garden hose hooked up. Ran it for 3-4 seconds to confirm rpm problem. cooling system has antifreeze in it and at proper level. The minute i use garden hose to suppy water to heat exchanger, intercooler, oil tank assy the intake and cylinders fill with water. i pulled the oil tank and pressure tested the water system in it and cannot get any signs of leakage there. I suspect intercooler or engine problem. Anyone have a similiar probelm and where should i start next.

First Off,never start the MSX 110 out of the water without it being in reverse. That limits the over rev. which is normal. Coolent in the oil,Check this thread.

The MSX did not come with a factory installed flushing tee...so this was added. Where is this plumbed into? My guess is that it has been placed into the wrong line....
