    Arrow wiseco ??

    hey guy's why you told the wiseco isn't a good piston for rec??
    i use since 2004 without problem!
    you could tell me what is it problem with wiseco? these ring or piston! yes is true these wiseco is $$$$$$!
    thank for great help or experience!,

    even waiting 2 or 3 minute for than warn little more before full throlle!

    That is the biggest issue is the wisecos expand more rapidly than the others, and that makes them less forgiving for rec riders.

    Don't you have to compensate for the expansion with a slightly bigger bore too?

    No problems at all, pro lites have been in my 750 over 10 years

    Most have found that the clearance should be more than what Wiseco suggests.

    Right around 7 thousandths, VS. the 4 they recommend.


    The rings are a bit on the hard side too. Seems to make wear marks faster than others.


    Nut#1, I'm glad you have no problems with yours. It just seems others have had some problems with them, that's why I say WSM or stock would be better for rec riding. No need for forged slugs with stock compression.

    I put a WSM in my buddy's 95 SLX and have had no problems. I liked the pro lites. I actually gain a few rpms with the lighter than stock balanced pistons. It was like ten years ago so I couldn't give ya an exact number on the increase Been running one in my ATC 250R for like 20 years, sixty over now that's got some compressing when ya kick it.

    i like wiseco,i never has problem with them!
    is little more expensif,so i think is good piston!
    even run wiseco on my snowmobile who rpm hit 9300 rpm!
