What will give more speed on turbo ski? ring or pitching the prop

I was tuning my rxp turbo but i was on the rev limiter. I am using a rotax with rude controller, 60# injectors, and a 15.5/21.5 skat prop.
Now with the full tank I hit 84mph hitting the limiter 8550-8600 with the 81mm ring. Will the rev limiter take away speed?

Should I add more pitch or use an 80mm ring?
    any thoughts?

    Try 15.5/22.5
the prop you are using now for RXT not RXP

You never said how much you are boosting that you are hitting the rev limiter, but I supposed you are going over 17psi with that prop to hit the rev limiter like that. the prop your are using is for quick take off and not top end speed. change your prop to a 15.5/22.5 and fine tuned with the nozzle rings if you are looking for a good top speed run...

yes I am at 20-21 pounds and 95 degree air temp.
Is that prop you are talking about 15.5/22.5 a 4 blade or 3 blade?
    I prefer top end now.
    Thanks

If you are looking for top speed go with 4 blade, if you are searching for best hole shot go with 3 blade

+1+1..if you want top end power boosting 20-21psi your best bet is the 4 blade. i dont know what intake manifold you have but if it is stock it is not going to last too long with that boost level ....

What 4 blade you guys recomend? I heard that the 15/22r will not work, even with added pitch will be all over the limiter.
    I am using aluminum intake.

Problem with the 4-blades is that they are much "shorter" than 3-blades. I ran across this a while back. I had a 15/20 pitched up to 15/24 and it still wouldn't keep me off the limiter. I installed a 15.5/23 3-blade and it was much steeper.

Exactly my experience as well. I added 3 mm pitch to the leading edge and 4 mm pitch to the trailing edge of a 15/20R and i was still all over the rev limiter at 3/4 throttle on my turbo RXP.
