    Error "SENSOR"

Hey guys, Well i just got done putting in my free flow exhaust and when i went to start the ski I got one long beep then the display was flashing "SENSOR". I put the ski on the hose and it started up fine and ran normal on the hose but the tempature sensor on the display wasn't reading a tempature. I believe that reads a temp while on the hose correct? Anywyay has anyone came across this?

One possibility is that you did not reconnect the sensor to the water box. If this is not done then you will the message you described.

    Hope this helps.

Sounds like it...That's really the only sensor located near the stock exhaust exit. The VTS is bunched in with the speed sensor and the lake temperature sensor is actually part of the speed sensor unit. The ski should read a temperature on the gauge whether on the hose or not considering it is either outside temperature or lake temperature (not engine temperature).

Checked the speedo sensor and it was unhooked. I reconnected it but I'm still getting the sensor error. I tried disconnecting the battery and left it disconnected for about 20 minutes but it didn't change anything. Is there a way to reset the computer without taking it to the dealer?
