    Supercharger Shims

Can I get the correct shim at the local ACE hardware store??

If so what size do I ask for? Material?

I'd buy some from the store but need them now...... should have bought some with the last order to put on the shelf

Here is where I get mine. http://www.washersusa.com/shimf.html. I'm not sure of the exact size but I think most people order a smaller ID and drill it to their shaft size. You will need varying thicknesses and a micrometer.

I have never shimmed a SeaDoo SC as left that up to Jerry but I have used them for other projects. That is why i do not know the sizes off the top of my head.

That link is not working for me?

So I guess the questions is what material and thicknesses to get??

I forgot Jerry had that kit. I was just emailing him about that. You are not going to find anything today as I know they are an oddball size.

I have seen washers at the hardware store. Never have I seen stainless steel shims. Just looked in there catalog and they have no listing for shims but if you find some go with .004 inch and you will have to measure your shaft and drill them to size.

Hell shims are cheap, buy a bunch and figure it out when you get home. Make sure they are ss and not mild steel or they wont last long.

Thanks... as someone said above it's not going to happen today!

B-kit blower from Les Cooke... only 4 hours on it and it's at 100 in/lbs.... does that sound right???
