    gpr headachs

after reading the post aboutt he 2006 gpr with tis step by step mods that is running 77 im wondering why i only avg 69.i have hit 70.6 @ 7200 rpms at my highest. today i only hit 68.7 at 7250 rpms. my efi is a little out of whack but i dont think it should be hurting me. my ride plate is not moded. carl put my jetworks in and at that time he fixed my pump shoe akignment so thats not it. any other ideas? my compression is only 130 psi on every cylinder, i shouldnt it be higher witht he heads? on the trailer when im clearing out the exhaust of water it backfires. thanks

i ordered the stock hoses to put my sound suppression back in.

i haver worx sponsons installed for CC. but they are as far up as they can go. i do notice a solid "sheet" of water coming of them now. is that killing my speed that much?

Your compression seems low for having riva heads, could it be your gauge? My stock compression was 135lbs. Theres no doubt the package did help my ski. I was also running a highly modded riva plate, and on my ski the r&d plate was consistantly slower. Theres alot of speed left on the table with your plate though. I was also running an 800 grate, this consistantly gave me 1.5mph and you don't have the keyway. Are you making these runs in superman? That can add 1mph+

So if your at say 70mph
    add 800 grate = 1.5mph
modd plate at least = 2mph+
    ss box and keyway= 1mph
These things should put you at 74mph+

would the worx sponsons hurt me?

its a cheap gauge i got from advanced auto parts for like $35

is about half way fown, known as the power plenum. its just a less restritive air filter. i have only seen 5 mph over everything i did so for me it didnt do much. but i think its needed once you get reeds and heads and what not.
