Are you ckecking your AFR ? It seems like valves get blamed for everything around here. If its lean it will take out a valve.

    Ferrea valve

running 11.5 have RRPR, Walbro pump. Not getting hot. 14pd boost 8500rpm not hitting rev limiter. Cant use that for an excuse.

Just curious, did your ski ever suffer a supercharger washer failure?

But arent the stock ones supposed to fail at the rpms your running? It says 8500rpm in your sig.

I agree the valves get blamed for everything.

If you are generally running the right retainer and spring, and not floating the valves, they generally do not fail. Our Open class boat runs 25psi boost with stock valves lightened, Ti retainers, and heavyduty springs. Runs 8800rpm up to the revlimiter, with no problems.

WHen the valve follows the cam back onto the seat , it is a very gentle operation. When it floats, the valve basically jumps the ramp (just like a motorcycle jumping a ramp) and it smashes back down on the seat. They do not last long this way. Floating while on the revlimiter is even more violent.

Keep the AFR around 11.5:1 and the EGT below 1500f

That is my experience with it.
