    95 sl750 Thermostat

I am going to take the thermostat out of my 95 sl750 because its bad and wont open. I figure Instead of buying a new one it would be better to keep it out instead of having future problems. Since I'm leaving the thermostat out should I leave the bypass valve and spring out as well? By taking these out will this also effect how the cooling works when I backflush the ski.

It will flow well enough with only the tstat removed. Some have removed the bypass as well. and some only remove the bypass. Your choice I guess. I only removed the tstat myself. You will need to pinch off the water outlet line when using the flush fitting to force the water through the engine. If not, most of the water will leave through the outlet line and not the engine.

Thanks for the advice. I think I will do what you did on yours and just remove the tstat.
