Which PWC gets the highest overall gas "mileage" stock?

I've been reading thru the discussions about fuel consumption, but haven't found out if anyone knows which ski gets the best overall mileage. I realize this may be a different answer depending on whether you're cruising along or going WOT. Also, what mods, if any, could increase the mpg on my 96 Raider 700?

Honestly if you are worried about MPG then just sell it and find a new hobby.

Dude - that's a little harsh, don't you think? I've seen lots of threads on here about fitting larger gas tanks in the hull, using the oil tank as a reserve, and complaining about having to find a way to fill up on long rides or strap on external gas cans to take on long distance rides. I think it's a valid question for anyone looking to take longer river rides or go island hopping, or to ride in obscure areas where maybe fill-up options are few and far between.

And I have an F350, an Xterra, a 30 ft Sea Ray, and a scooter on top of the Raider, so gas mileage from a simple usage perspective isn't really the issue.

my thoughts exactly, but if you want fuel mileage the answer will be the pwc with the smallest motor and lightest hull/least drag. some of the naturally aspirated 4 strokes, like the honda are the best on gas in my experience.
A 2 stroke will never be the best, but your mileage may vary

I figured on a recent trip I took that my RXPX averaged 5.75 mpg. That is a little better than my truck.
