Who says you can't jump a whale?
My buddy snapped a few pics from the river last Sunday. I was just out of reach for his 200mm lens on his camera so these are 100% crops. That's why they look so grainy. No surf here in lame Missouri. Just find a big yacht and let the good times roll. lol Anyway, yeah... I'm the skinny guy jockying.
And then for a little fun they photoshopped me on this.
Anyone else have any pics of them getting these whales airborn?

Had a blast. I usually don't jump it that often because with it being so big, it lands pretty hard, but every once in a while I can't resist. Look like there's a little less than a ski length under me so about 6-7 foot.

Or, for more distance, go from the inside of the wake, and run right up the ass end of the boat and launch right off the very first wave. It's definitely not the safest maneuver. It requires you getting within 100ft of another moving vessel (which is illegal) and if something goes wrong on the landing it is possible the ski could throw you, and shoot towards the boat who's wake you just jumped. Not likely, but I could see it happening.
Always look what is beyond the wake you are jumping too. There could be another boat or vessel on the other side.

That's cool Hitman. No boats that big where I ride.
Looks like you took off from a ramp--I was thinking you put those keel protectors on your ski.
