    Waterbox question...?

Is the waterbox filled with water while on idle in the water? Does it always have water in it (while on the water of course)?

I know on the GPR that if you want to have the overheat warning still work that when you idle it the temp alarm goes off. Most remove it I think. If the RXP were to have an overheat warning would it go to limp home mode? I sure do not want to take it out of the pipe just to get a little better hole shot and loose the warning. I dont want to know my ski overheated by it locking up. I want a warning before it locks up.

That is definately the case on 2 stroke engines. I don't really know the physics on IC 4-stroke engines.
