Not sure if you're going to get much of a difference by swapping out the pipes.

The 650 dry pipe seems to be a good mod to accompany the PRO 785 CDI, 44mm carbs, Bored benturi to 87mm, and a 12/17 impeller.

That combo needs to rev around 6900 RPM. Your stock rev limiter is set at 6700.

The real question is "Did anyone ever get one of these dialed in or is everyone still tuning?"

Wouldn't it be nice if we had jetting specs for any of the following combos:

    44mm carbs on a stocker
    Pro CDI with stock carbs
    Pro CDI with 44's
    Just a Dry pipe
    Dry pipe with stock carbs
    Dry Pipe with 44's
Dry pipe, pro CDI, stock carbs
Dry pipe, pro CDI, 44mm carbs

I don't think I have ever seen a project with the exact jetting specs posted yet.

TechSLX, seems to have found a good jetting set.

Yupper, I was reading that in the for sale section. Almost done tuning and for sale cause he's tired of yanking the damn carb rack off. I'll give him props for getting that close. I'd have given up long ago.

Actually if you read further on in the thread, I issued him a challenge.

Which he seems to have accepted.

We'll see what he can come up with.

I wish Sea Lion was able to make it out to his AZ. house and check his jetting on his 44's.

This whole dry pipe project stems from his 780. I'm pretty sure he was fully dialed in with that.

Sounds good to me...LOL I got a pro intake manifold and pro coils stashed in my cellar for the some day project yet to come. Oh got an extra Hurricane impeller too. Looking for cheap parts and being very very patient. Hmmm, carbs, CDI and 92 pipe
