    turbo problems

Ok, I have a 2004 rxp, had a sc failure, completely rebuilt the engine, everything is new, holds good oil pressure, broke in the motor properly, and am now attempting to tune this beast. I have a rrfpr, 42's a t3 60 trim 48 ar air and water cooled turbo internally wastegated, water jacketed exhaust almost to the exhaust tip, heat shielding on the turbo and it is still over heating. It was running rich to begin with so i turned the rrfpr down from the 60 setting. Still running rich, so i turned up the boost 3 turns, now the damn boost is reading the same along with the afr saying i am still running rich which i believe may be part of the reason it is overheating to begin with. Oh please someone help me with some good advice.

The ski also has a riva grate, blockoffs, and a 15.5/22.5 I do not knowthe top speed as I am way more concerned with my afr right now than how fast this thing runs before it blows up.

    are you closed loop?

IF yes, is your turbo cooled thru the closed loop? IF yes, might want to switch your plumming around so that its part of raw water system..

    did you mod your thermo?

are running your waterbox temp sensor in line? in you down pipe? Might want to take it out and cap the hole..

what are you're egt's? You might want to get a gauge, if you dont know?

how are you measuring A/r? pre or post turbo?

lots of areas you could check into that might cause overheating... somehow i dont thing rich A/r is the cause..( wouldnt be the first time i was wrong though, lol)

That is right what they said before, you must provide more info about your set-up to properly address your problem, there are to many variables that can cause this situation with a turbo set-up....

My turbo is cooled through the raw water system, I did not modify the thermostat, I think it could be that I am running the waterbox temp sensor behind the turbo, I thought it was an oxygen sensor , not a temp sensor so I put it into my water jacketed pipes, what should I do about this? just take it out? how are you guys running it? And finally I do not have an egt gauge.
