i think i saw something on gh a while back on if you have a 99 gp 1200 the 97/98 nozzel was better to install.is this true and why?

Not sure what year, but some years came with 5 degree up nozzles. That is what you are hearing about.

I believe the 99GP had the 5 degree up nozzle and the 97 and 98s were 0 degrees. Kept them from porposing. 99s hull was longer in the back but if your 99 porposes try the 0 degree nozzle. May take away speed though.

98 was 5up too. 97 is the only zero, and I preferred it for the chop handling ability. Scrubs a couple mph but i didnt care..way better for chop.

most guys want the top end on glass of the 5up.
i prefer to beat them 98% of the time with the zero, because 98% of the time we're riding in the real world on some kinda chop. The zero keeps the nose planted.
