The South Africans have made Ensenada, Mexico
I just checked in on the http://www.13000miles.com/dailyupdates.asp
website to see how these crazy South Africans are doing. I was amazed to
see they have run all the way down from Alaska to Ensenada, Mexico.
It looks like I may really see these guys in Miami in Sept or October!
I can't believe Yamaha isn't backing this, they apparently thought about
it and then changed their minds.
Good luck to 'em........

There was a trip like that a few years back done on seadoo's from Durban to Cape town and that was one hell of a good ride.I know the people that did that trip and the experinece gained at sea is was unreal.
Keep it going South Africa

are they going around the gulf of mexico? It would seem an incredible crossing to make a bee line to Florida.
I cant stand the website. I dont have the patiance for it.

From what I've read they are going through Panama Canal. Then
they go up coast to Belize and then Cancun. You then go across
to Key West. If they do it straight shot, 377 miles. They could stop
off in Cuba, politics permitting, and then make the run to FL Keys
(90 miles). They say they want to end up in Miami.
