FZR- Riva or R&D intake grate.

    Which grate is everybody favouring?
The R&D looks a hell of a lot stronger with 3 bars from the front mount to the wing, or does this make it a slower grate than Riva's?
    Thanks

R&D seems to be the grate most are using. I have both but have not tried the Riva yet.

Take a look at these (http://picasaweb.google.com/carlosan...eat=directlink). They are adjustable to 8 different positions to handle different riding conditions. Then go here and place an order: http://www.tbmracing.com/web/index.p...mart&Itemid=18

One thing the TBM website does not explain how the adjustable grate works like if it move the last hole up what does the ski do and if you move it to the last hole downward what to expect for the ski. They should explain whats the different in adjusting the grate whats the the ski react and what to expect...

If you move the center wing higher up you will gain speed, but lose hookup. If you remove the rear chip you will get more speed and less hookup. If you are riding on a lake or river then less aggressive is better. If you are riding in choppy conditions then set it up to give you more hookup.

Now that is one interesting grate, something that has been talked about in the past has now come to life. Some serious testing needed here!
