    PX intake.

You read here that aftermarket air intakes are the go for extra hp but would a 3" intake make any difference on a near stock rxp-x for rec use ? (only has a worxs grate)

I ride salt so don't want the rear 4" intake so i talked to a guy who mods Seadoos and he said not to bother as the standard px intake breathes well enough as it is.

search for dannys intake flow results on the diffrent intakes.
the p-x intake is good at not injesting water sure but certanily can be improved.i had a 3"riva on an rxp and it was a good improvement.......but the 4" kanoflex kit from the store is the way ive went and its alot better.i gained about 300rpm just from the intake but thats in a cold uk at sea level.
get the kanoflex kit from jerry and use that just my 0.2.ive also got a worx grate on mine and currently got a 13/21 bent solas on.......the ski walks easily from my mates stock p-x

Thanks, i will serch for that as it sounds interesting.

Im not that bothered with top speed more holeshot & acceleration. The last thing i want is to upset my low down acceleration with cavitation etc.

The kanaflex setup makes a difference.

Works best in cooler climats,in the hotter climats they suck up more hot air.

But you will see rpm's gained, but 300 is not what i experienced,i would say 50-150rpm gain.

4" kanaflex front intake, mounted up front the fuel tank

Very good flow numbers without any risk of water injestion.
