    cleaning up

i jus wanted to know wuts the best way to clean out ur engine compartment on the jetski cuz i've been told to spray it down with a light mist, cuz u cant use to much pressure while cleaning it and i've also been told that u can just open up the plugs in the back and take it down into a fresh water lake and let it fill up, so if you can, help a beginner out and give me some advice

    IT'LL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

I have found the best way to clean the inside hull is to put a scoop of laundry detergent in the bottom before you ride. It is the same as the cleaning pellets you buy.

Dawn Dishwashing liquid works wonders.......... put a couple gallons of water in the hull then put about a 1/4 of a small bottle of Dawn in there and pull it to the lake............

+1 on the dawn dishwashing liquid. It works great, you will leave a trail of bubbles for a minute though

i also use dawn, and ride 99.9999% saltwater. i hose down the entire engine compartment. Fill it up with several gallons, let it sit for a bit, then drain and dry....keep the seat cover off as well. this will let out the moisture and reduce rust..
Be liberal on the soap too...its cheap!
