    Crankshaft Gear

    Can you swap the counterbalance/timing gear from one crankshaft to another? I have one crank with a bad gear and one with a bad thrust bearing surface and would like to make one good crank out of the two.

    Anybody? I am surprised that nobody has tried or done this.

    The timing gear cannot be removed from the crank, its one piece.
