    Question on E1 Wheel

I finally got everything installed today. I added the multiport adaptor and fuel pressure guage today. I ran it on the hose and had a question. When I rev it, I hear a pretty strong whistle whereas before there was none. Is this normal with the E1 wheel or is something wrong? I have the fuel pressure set at 65 psi. The vacuum line from the BOV to the multiport adaptor is connected. All clamps are tight. I'm ready to roll as long as the whistle is normal. Let me know what you think.

It is normal and you will hear even more noise with it straining to get through the oem IC

Type 19 is installed now. No testing done with it yet.

Doesn't the type 19 flow more air than the 20?

    not that much

You may be able to get away with using it now that we are going into the Fall. The type 13 (I think it is off hand) and Riva's are the only IC's I trust with the E1 at this point. CFM is not the only issue

I don't know much about this stuff but the type 19 is rated for over 700 cfm while the 20 is only 450 cfm. Would that make that much of a difference? Any clue on what the new Riva Intercooler is rated at?

I would not start with the fuel pressure so high. I would say 58 psi if you are using the rising rate. 64 PSI if your not.

I am not using the rising rate regulator. I'll set it at 64 and go from there. I have no clue about afr so what range do I want to be in? I have the afr sensor hooked up but have not tried it yet. Nils did walk me through the setup. Let me know what numbers I am trying to be at.

at you boost level. 13-16 PSI. 11.9 is very safe for long WOT runs. 12.2 Makes more power for short power runs. I would not go much leaner than 12.6. You can go leaner than that and make more power. But play at your own risk!!!
