Are some people going to go to NYC and others to Port Jeff? Or is it all still up in the air?

Looks like if I want to go I will be doing some wrenching on my ski. I am so fucking pissed at this dealership! I could have just done this myself last week and rode this past weekend. "We can't see where the leak is coming from." It takes a fucking week to find a leak>?!?!? It is the damn ride plate!!!!! Either replace it or reseal it! They want to try a drain plug which is on order. How do you not stock parts>?!?!?

I dont see how the drain plug has any relevance..
also- if it werent sealed properly, youd have water in your hull, no?
You should tell them you want a new ride plate under warranty. Be more assertive about it. Going down there and acting upset in front of other customers always helps too.

I have done rideplates on XPs before but never a RXP. Im wondering what is involved in replacing one as Im about to replace mine. I currently have a Jims ride plate here and am debating using it on my ski, or putting it on the green ski and doing a speedfreeks plate on mine.
I imagine coolant has to be drained first and then it should just be a simple bolt-up job. the only 'work' in in resealing it and then puttying the holes is easy too.
