That's good for a stocker! I've gotten mine up to 68.5 so far as my best speed! Can't wait til 60-70 degree temps I think I maybe able to hit the 70mph mark!

Are you planning to Attend Region 5 Races tmw at Lake Lewisville? Starts at 10am!

Well today I got my best stock speed. The temp was like in the 70's and I think the humdity was down some from the rain and it was cloudy. My fastest run of the day with a stock rxp except the riva intake grate was 69.7mph my gps satellite was reading at 15ft and the elevation was at 265 i think. I was shocked to see that on my gps because my top speed was 68.6mph in calm water and when I hit 69.7mph it wasnt totally calm and I bounced a little here and there.

what you guys don't get is.... when ur travelling one direction and see your GPS read max speed of 69 or something... whatever it read.... turn around EXACTLY 180 degrees..... and reset the GPS... and go WOT in that direction and NOW see what your GPS says.... it WILL NOT say the same GPS number.... whatever the result, add the 2 numbers together, divide by 2 to find the average, and that my friends is your GPS speed... this negates any wind/current factors...

It was in a cove with pretty calm water,(hence no wind),and no current whatsoever.I forgot to mention I saw very little rpm loss today in the heat.I was consistently hitting 8000-8050.
