    impeller for slx

    hey guys, this is my first post on here but i read a lot....
    i need a new impeller for my 96 slx780, i noticed there is two impellers listed for it.
    a three bladed & a 4 bladed. the engine almost stock, 92 octane heads, boyensen reeds, r&d intake grate. engine has just been freshly built. 145 mag 150 center 150 pto compression. it has a total of 2 1/2 hrs. on it.
    the impeller on it now is pt. # 5131079 . so i'm asking u guys which would be a better choice... thanks for any help..

    I had a 96 slx and I used a Nujet 5.0 with great results. No different hole shot but better mid and 1mph top end.

    The NuJet 5.0 would be perfect for that setup...like X45 said. But go with a threee blade over a four blade for sure...oh, and welcome to the forum!

    Welcome to the Hulk.

    Use a Skat Trak 13/18 swirl if you want good acceleration.

    Try the Nu Jet 5.0 if you want top speed.

    Solas wouldn't be bad either for mid range to top speed

    thanks for the reply's . i was thinking the three bladed impeller
    was the better choice..... i feel like i know you guys i've read
    your aswers so much........
