Somebody put in that SeaDoo discussion thread what you'd need to do to convert.

Here's the retrofit text
3) The trailer is cool, lightweight, and innovative but requires some substantial surgery to retrofit one's PWC to use it. The automatic catch requires a specialized plate in place of the eye hook.
If you want to get your other Sea-Doos (or other brand PWC) to work on the trailer, you need to crawl inside of your bow, remove the factory hook, and install BRP's new plate. When introduced, I immediately wondered why they didn't just use a horizontal spring-loaded cleat instead of reinventing the wheel...

If you can weld and use a spray paint can you can add the same features to your existing trailer.
I really don't give a rats ass about some stupid futuristic trailer. Mine get's the ski from point a to point b and that's all that matter. The fun is on the water, not behind my truck.
I wonder what that heap of crap costs?
Makes me wonder. Is Sea Poop adding all this shit to their skis and trailers just so they can justify jacking up the price even more?
