    fix my cavitation problem

    Heres what I have
    08 RXTX
    137 Etec charger
    SPeedfreaks prop
    new wear ring
    50# injectors.
R&D grate ofr stock grate, have tried both

Mid range is killer top end is 72.9 max

holeshot it hits the limiter 3-4 times before it rips out.

After riding a stock ski I want the holeshot back.

Im tired of spending money,I figure if i could raise the limiter it would fix this, but what they charge to do this is highway robbery.

I also have a rude fuel controller and have not tuned it,i know once tuned this problem will be even worse.

So what do you think? or what do you offer for the part i have??

    Thanks!

Make sure none of the pump shoe shark fins are broken. Then I would consider the Rad 4 driveshaft seal.

I was able to fix my cavitation problem by moving the accordion boot up putting more pressure on the carbon seal. The extra power causes it flex letting air get sucked into the pump tunnel. My next mod will be the Rad4 seal.

79 mph @ 8120 in summer heat. 80 with a tail wind running with the tide.
I can't even do that with a empty tank running superman with a 15 mph at my back, I'm small time compared to you!!!!

Otto- I did the rad4 seal and mine cavitates less now.. I did not even think of that when you asked me.

The part has to be ordered from Australia (I think) and Erik gets $450 for the part and machining of your stock driveshaft. It is a little pricey BUT its a worthy investment if you are running a bigger sc. When I was rude1, the extra power destroyed my stock carbon ring. If it goes, you sink.

    The rad4?

I had no choice. When I was Rude1, it damaged my carbon ring from pushing it out. My ski was taking on water and it got increasingly worse. I had no choice. Now im 2Rude.
