    BOV install

    Finished installing my bov but when I run it on the trailer it seems to be blowing air out when I'm doing the throttle. The manifold boss also seems to be vacumming does it ever blow out ?

    Does the ski need to be on the water for the BOV to work right ?

    Kinch, the BOV will always be venting in vacuum, another words, when in boost the valve closes, when you get into engine vacuum, even when light cruising the valve will be venting to atmosphere.

    I don`t know what the spring rate is inside the valve, to say just how much vacuum starts the valve to open!...PR...
    You have no load on the engine while on the trailer...
    you will here it most of the time until you mash it...

    Anyone think cruising at 5500-6000 it will be venting ? Wouldn't that mess with the gas per hour being the horsepower is down ? hmmm might have to do a gas tank / miles test again.

    Kinch: I don`t know the spring rate, so it`s absolutely possible that the valve will be closed at that low a vac signal...
    I was told that most BOV`s leak boost, so I just capped off the port!...PR...
