    Best Performance RXP-X

    Hello everybody.

    I need help.
I have a RXP-X and I want to put some performance parts:

    • RXP-X Pro-Series Reduction Nozzle
    • WORX Intake Grate for X Model
    • Rear Exhaust Kit
    • Solas 15/22 R
    • Riva Performance Air Filter

These are the parts that I want to put, while maintaining full reliability.

    08 RXP-X – 67,72 MPH GPS @ 8040 RPM

I dont want RPM very high, just want to keep at the sweet spot.. I want some speed and greater holeshot.

What do you guys think, can someone help on my decision?

I think if you reduce the nozzle without adjusting the prop, you will lose some holeshot, but possibly gain speed. I would guess you would gain 5 MPH with those mods before putting on the nozzle. Then you would have to play with the nozzles to see which size you liked.

Great... And RPM? This is my fear. I do not want more than 8060 RPM.

I went from 66 MPH stock to 72 MPH with similar mods. You can use your new nozzle to control your RPMs. It would be better to have a prop pitched for the nozzle you want to use, but if prop repitching is not an option, you can do it the other around and use the nozzle to adjust RPMs as well.

at sea level with a stock p-x and worx grate a was turning 8100rpm on hot day and 8160rpm on cold day.
i added the 4" intake and gained around 300rpm from this and sealing the rideplate and filling bolt holes.this was on a cold day but.

id say youll def need to repitch the prop.........ive got a 13/21 set back prop and its alot faster out the hole than stock!

i wouldnt worry about going over 8060rpm as sum guys on here pitch for 8100rpm with the px although the sweet spot is 8000rpm.so long as your below 8200rpm your good.

    I also installed the kanaflex,but didn't gain 300 rpm.

My mods are almost the same as yours.

How did you know you gained 300 rpm,you must have been over the revlimiter .

Does the gauge display the 8400 rpm's you were making just curious.

With the stock ecu ,the limiter cuts in at 8200.
According to seadoo the limiter is set at 8300,still lower as 8400.

I live in the Netherlands, almost the same climate as Scotland.

But i did gain about 100 rpm with the kanaflex.

Max rpm was 8180 in colder weather, now in summer i'm at 8080 rpm.

This summer i was in Spain, only 7960 rpm.

So the temperatures do a lot to your rpm's.

if you only looking for just over 70 with killer holeshot use a three blade prop. I got just over 72 with a skat 14-18, worxgrate and 4" air intake and free mods and standard nozzle(87mm). Naturally couldn't stop there so have added other stuff since. The three blade was just awesome for pulling out of the whole although it does lose about three mph in the top end but the trade off is well worth it if you like holeshot

i was shocked myself!!!trust me i was pissed.i sent the prop to get pitched for 200rpm to be knocked off it as i expected to gain 200rpm max.
first day out i actually went to a lake for a rare change.lake was 1400ft above sea level and i was turning 8060rpm it was a coldish day.
then a few days later was in the sea and was hitting 8160.
i added the intake, sealed rideplate up better and filled holes also modded opas paddles for less drag.
