What's the best year Blaster?
So I've decided to spend the winter shopping for a wave blaster for next summer. What's the best year and what should I expect to pay for one that runs (no blown engine at least), doesn't require a COMPLETE rebuild, don't care about mods, and can at least be test ridden?

Thanks - the motor's what I'm most interested in because I can change the color. But I agree - that purple is butt-ugly. I'm in the process of painting all the purple on my Raider black.

93-94-95 have the 61X which makes 63hp and better bottom end power
96 was the Twin carb 62T which makes 73hp and better mid/upper power and has a sligt change in the rear of the hull "nose" up to help get speed up which sometimes causes the bounce....but a plate will cure this.

I kike the "ugly purple" myself. Nothing like the original B1 even in stock form. Thing is, you won't leave it stock for very long.
No matter how hard you try.....a little birdie in your shoulder will be saying.."Just this one _____" and you will give in. I know I always do.
Look at that shine on the hood.
Then look under it. Mind you, it does look a slight bit different under the hood right now. I will "unveil" those pics when it is done.

I love all the paints on the blaster...it quickly grows on ya...even more when you ride it!
I just jacked my order all up for mine...sigh.. Looks like my mod pipe will be here but I got the wrong manifold....so I have to send it back and wait for the other 61X manifold to get here. I had ordered a 62T manifold..when it needs the 61X ...duh...
Oh well winter is coming...it will be my winter project

None of this winter project shit, get out and ride when it is done. This is the perfect time to ride. Cool, and less assholes on the water. They don't want to "get wet" as the water is "cold".
Imagine that, a rider of a water craft and not wanting to get wet! Pussies! They should go back, sit at the beach in their "flip flops" (gay) and sip on their drink with the little f'n umbrella in it.

I believe port sizes are different ....dunno without a gasket...and also the bolt holes are larger on the 62T vs the 61X....but nothing a timesert could not handle.
