Im hearing 80-100 hrs is average. When you change the belt dont forget to do the beltholder upgrade and add an extra belt. Also, go w/ an aftermarket belt(Davis I think)..heard its same chit but half the price. Search around in here...just saw it a few days ago.

Way less that half ($12.99 from NAPA around here vs $55.00 from Kawi), I have been running one of these belts HARD for 10+ hours so far, no problems...........

    Gates K060295 (6PK750) for OEM pulley, 1-1 and 1.05

If the dealer does it , should be @ 2 hours labor, just when they do it, have the extra belt holder in place and put an extra one or two on there...........

    130hrs and counting

My belt is still spinning fine @ 130hrs . I am considering changing it this winter. My advice to you is to never lubricate the belt as that will increase the chance if slippage (also do not spray anything on it that could cause it to deteriorate). It's a good idea to leave the cover on too.

What do you mean by "beltholder upgrade"?

    Not sure...

I am not 100% sure what they meant but after some googleing I think it might be this part from RD-Performance:

Ultra 250X Belt Holder Kit - Now Available
