    ski just shut off after wave jump

    last wk while jumping a wake (not that high) i came down hit the water and the ski just turned off, it did not even go through its 10-12 secs where the instrument panel stays on then turns completely off, it just SHUT OFF,now it started right away but the WARNING LIGHT was flashing continiously as a rode closer to shore(no problem with power) i turn ski off waited 5-10 sec. started it , no problem after, today no problem,checked fuel lines(no smell) battery connect(good)what could have caused this, has anyone exp. the same thing??

    have you still got the tip over sensor connected ??

    cant find the link sorry..find sensor,open lid, fill with mastic,refit lid,

    sensor

    hmm...don't know about this sensor,don,t remember seeing this in service manual,what's its purpose?

    ski rolls over OR leans at a good angle the sensor cuts the engine out,mine used to cut out when i was jumping in the winter months in bigger waves...

    there a few thread out there on sensor and billy rx951 started one back a few years ago

    sensor

    thanks HYDRO,i definitely look in to it,i,ve "bang around" alot more since it happened, so far ok,there is a tip over sensor if ski should capsize and the lanyard stays intacted it shuts her down?
