96 GSX kicks over but won't start

My GSX has been running great all season, yesterday we were out riding more than 4 hours. Today we're having a cook out & I wanted to take my kids, nephews & nieces out.

As per normal I decided to start her up to ensure I'll have no issues. She will not start. It tries to start everytime but once I give it the slightest throttle she'll shut down immediatley. I checked for fuel, filters, plugs even tried charging the battery & nothing.

When checking my fuel filter I noticed there was no pressure release. Do you think it could my my pressure relief or check valves? Maybe the fuel ain't pressurizing.

Grey fuel lines have been replaced.

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

Has the choke plates. I tried your choke method & nothing. Both the fuel bowl filter & internal carb filters are clean. Although I did notice when unscrewing the fuel bowl filter that no fuel vapor pressure was relieved.

Weird, absolutley nothing has changed since yesterdays ride so I don't want to re-invent the wheel on possible issue. I'm suspecting my check valve because it appears my fuel system ain't pressurized.

How would I prove this theory?

    Thanks.

WOW is the word that comes to mind!

I got her up and running this morning and had a blast all day.

Now, a friend of mine mentioned this issue a while ago and I must admit I looked at him like he had 3 heads.

He said that tiny spiders and insects can find there way into these skies and really screw you up - he was right.

The problem I had was the vent line (check-valve) under the front of the seat was plugged up.

I had a few tiny little spiders camping out under that seat hitch & one of those suckers decided to crawl into that check valve and screw me up.

Once I cleared that line she started right up.

    I'm still amazed!
