    RXP Supercharger removal

    Hello All,

I have a 2006 RXP with a Riva Stage 1 and a free flow exhaust. I get a sold 71 mph @ 8100 RPM with a 225lb rider. I want to get another 2 or 3 mph out of it. What would you recommend with the following in mind.

    1. easiest installation. I am very little mechanically inclined.
    2. best price. I'm trying to do this without breaking the bank. I know I can add an external intercooler and stuff but it's way to expensive for a couple of mph.
    3. best reliability.

    Thanks

That's asking a lot if you thinking that dropping $600 on an intercooler is too expensive.

I have a 15/20 impeller. Can I run it with what I have? What will it do?

your most reliable and inexpensive speed incrase will be....

don't get pissed at me bro, but losing 35 pounds would be a win win all around and you'll get a better hole shot too.

Best part is you get to live longer and better too...

That was a pretty lame reply, what if his weight was right on for his height? I am 6'3" 225, if I lost 35lbs I would be a unhealthy bag of bones?

I'm 6' 4" and I cut up at 225. Off season I go 250 plus. I'm into bodybuilding so yes losing 35 pounds was a bit of a lame ass reply.

    http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/met.htm

I just took a buttwhoopin lecture from my doc who insists I get under 190 real soon, I was 230 at the beginning o the summer and I'm 6 foot large framed. I'm at 205 now

ideal/height weight numbers are always up for discussion and seem to change as often as the stock market, but lame?..don't think so.

Actually that's my stock answer for folks that come in wanting more speed on a ski that's already breaking 70 on the economy package.

A lame answer would be something like:

put a couple of riva stage 3 stickers on it....

all in good fun, there isn't a whole lot you do now to meet your specs. Stage one is a pretty good bang for the buck.

real speed gains require infusions of bags of cash I'm afraid to say.

Be interested in know if my lame ass joke really has some truth behind it..will you get more speed by cutting 20-30 pounds off a ski?

I recall motocross guys going nutso years ago drilling hole in everything and even going as far as using helium in the tires

at around 6 pounds a gallon, running with minimal fuel should provide an answer to this question, not too [email protected]/hour at full throttle a few gallons goes quick.
