    sbt cylinders exhaust port ?

    I had a cylinder let get and have the motor apart i did notice that when sbt pressed the sleeve in, that the sleeve is covering 1/8 inch of the exhaust port . What i was wondering if before i hone the cylinder i was thinking aboutg dremeling it back to the original size ,since i can reach through the exhaust port to open it up ? What do you guys think

    what part is it covering 1/8? top left right?
    can you post the measure? using a telescopic gauge

    it is possible sbt got a ported core and then sleeve it...

    its the top of the port its on all 3 cylinders maybe thats my power loss on top end . do you think i should open them up.

    harley...you cant just go in there and start grinding away. You must measure up the cylinders. Call me and i will explain why. 775-315-0222

    let us know the distance from the top of the cylinders to the top of the exhaust ports, maybe its too low and thats your powwer loss and grinding will fix it

    top of the port is measuring between 42 and 44 and all 3 cylinders are slightly different . this is from the top of the cylinder to the top of the port . here is a pic which you should be able to see in the pic where the orignal port is and the sleeve is in the second pic i put white out on the sleeve so its easier to see where the orignal is
