No power when key inserted: help

07 Ultra 250x. Bone stock. about 60 hours.
Battery died. Put in new cheapo wally battery..
It died in about a month. Went and got a good AGM battery.

Now, the instr. cluster is dead. NO beep or sign of life
    when key put in.

IF I jump starter solenoid (at battery location), the starter
engages just fine. Have 12.8 volts, plenty amps.

There must be a fuse/relay/ fusibile link or something
    that I can't find/locate.

Can anyone help to point me in the right direction.
This is my riding bud's ski, so I'm solo 'til I can
    get him fixxed up.

Looked thru manual just now (thanks for link).

The only thing I can think of would be the
    #7 on diagram: fuse holder
    #9 : ECU main relay

I can't find either of these as listed parts
on the online parts finder to purchase and try.

    Any suggestions welcome

No point looking at the online parts finder yet. If you have voltage at the battery, then follow the electrical diagram checking for voltage until you get to the instrument cluster. My guess is the main fuse is blown. If I'm not mistaken it's located right next to the ECU and there's even a spare fuse in a holder.

    Thanks for the info guys.

I'll check for a fuseholder next to the ecm.
I assume it's on the "panel" that is behind & above the
    battery.
Tried to find it at the lake this weekend. And couldn;t
    locate any fuses.

Will look again to locate. I thought it would just be
    a fuse as well.
