    Gtx 215 2003??

    What chargers will fit this ski?...would an 07 fit as a direct replacment? plus can i get a rebuild kit,any washer info ect would be very wellcome

    You can use a 215-hp SC on a 185-hp engine if you replace the flywheel on the 185-hp engine with a 215-hp flywheel, or if you change the drive gear on the 215-hp SC with the drive gear from the 185-hp SC. I've seen posts about this, and most seem to go with the 215-hp flywheel to increase the boost... Ron

    the ski is a 2003 gtx limited 215......im told,i wana rebuild or swap the charger,for a more moderen one....poss rebuild the charger.I take it the 03 runs riva washers,and rebuild kits are available...i have got an 07 charger spare but would it fit this ski?????

    I wasn't aware that the 215 hp motor was available in anything
    in 2003.. Just the GTX sc 185 hp engine.

    So if you have the 215 hp engine (2004 & up) the
    Number of gears is the same, so you should be fine.

    if its definetly an '03 GTX, its not a 215....pretty sure they only made 185's...

    yes we had a 03 gtx limited and it was 185hp.215 wasnt out in 03.

    RIGHT,its not my ski,i was told it was 2003........i saw the ski on the water it says gtx limited 215.....so it could be 2004,he might have got it wrong...thanks

    04 gtx limited was 185hp cus i had one..... 215 i believe did not come out until 2005

    It is very easy to tell. A 215 will have two hoses running to the front of the intake for the inter cooler and the 185 does not.

    i will get to look inside it at weekend....im sure its an 04 not 03.....thanks everyone
