    Cleaning older skis

Got a number of older skis 94,95,96 and want to clean them up (on the outside). What are the recommendations for products to clean the bodies, seats, etc.

    Thanks!

if they are really faded you will need a light buffing compound to get the oxidation out. as for the hoods and other plastic parts you will need a heat gun. it will bring the original color back.

I think that you need a bit more heat than a hair dryer...a hair dryer will work but your going to be there a while. as for the stains any compound with some sort of grit will work..

Good luck with the mildew on those handlebar pads... I've never seen anything get that crap out!
