    Who rebuilt the motor?

I did. I have the shop manual on disk and rebuilt it to Yamaha Specs. I put in a new crank, jug, piston, rings, wrist pins, wrist pin bearings and all new gaskets. I used assembly lube and all required fasteners had loctite applied and were torqued to spec. I'm mechanically inclined and did it right using the right tools (i.e torque wrenches, bore gauge, micrometers etc.)

Compression is solid across the three cylinders. Although they are not as high as factory (120), they are getting better with each additional hour. Right now they are:

    Cylinder 1 105PSI
    Cylinder 2 110PSI
    Cylinder 3 105PSI

I assume this is due to the new rings not being completely seated yet. I'm sure I've slowed the process by running the oil injection and Amsoil 100:1 in the first tank.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks
